We ask for only what we need to make a fair hiring decision, and we treat it carefully.
What we collect
Your name, contact details, location, work history, answers to the questions on the application form, and any documents you choose to upload, such as a résumé or cover letter.
How we use it
Only to evaluate you for the role you applied to and for other open roles at Swedish Candy Culture, to contact you about your application, and to keep records required for hiring compliance.
AI-assisted screening
We use an AI assistant to summarise applications and highlight relevant experience against the job requirements. It never makes the hiring decision — a member of our team reviews every application, and the AI is instructed to ignore protected characteristics.
Where documents live
Uploaded documents are stored in a private, access-controlled bucket. Only authenticated members of our hiring team can open them, through short-lived links.
How long we keep it
We retain applications for up to 24 months so we can consider you for future openings, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your application data, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it by emailing careers@swedishcandyculture.com with your application ID.
